On Friday, Cameron Sanson signed to play tennis at Florida Tech next year. He was a state qualifier this year in Boys Singles.
The Bullard FFA chapter recognized members during it annual banquet May 8 in the Elementary School Cafeteria.
The new slate of officers was named, judging teams were honored for their advancement to state competition and individual awards were presented.
Kayla McPherson walked away with a first in headline writing with perfect score, qualifying her for the state contest.
McPherson also took 5th in news writing, Jesse Ives was 5th in ready writing, Falyn LeBlanc was 6th feature writing and Stanley Gore was 7th in social studies.
The Bullard Athletic Booster Club will host the All-Sports Athletic Banquet Monday at Eagles Bluff Country club at 5 p.m.

There will be no cost for high school athletes. Cost for adults and students over 12 will be $10.
On the menu: Hamburger/cheeseburger or grilled chicken sandwich plus sides, chips and drink.
Cameron Sanson took second place in boys’ singles at the Region 2-AAA tennis tournament. The second place finish earned him a slot in the state tennis tournament April 28-29 in College Station.
