History
The Bullard Belles Drill Team was established in 2009 by Director, Shelly Johnston. The first team consisted of 11 members, but today the number holds at 32. Over the last 7 years, the Belles have traveled and performed at Disney Land, New York, and Disney Land. In addition, they compete at several competitions each year. The Belles have been named to the "Top Ten Teams" numerous times, but most recently, won "1st Place Winner's Circle", meaning they received the highest score of the entire contest. The purpose of implementing the Belles program was to increase school spirit, while offering an opportunity for dancers to perform for audiences and heighten their dancing skills. Many former Belles have continued their dance training in college.
