• Introduction

    Bullard ISD now has an online portal for you to change your display name, change your password, set and update security questions and reset your password in the case that you have forgotten it. You can do all of this from a web browser inside or outside of the district.

    Changing Your Name

    Please Note: Attempting to impersonate others, mask identity, or set an inappropriate name will subject you to disciplinary action.

    If your name is misspelled or you go by a nickname, you may change your display name:

    1. Browse to the self service update portal
    2. Log in with your username and password
    3. Change the fields to your desired name
    4. Click the Update button

    In order to change your email address or username, you must submit a helpdesk ticket.

    Changing Your Password

    If you know your password but want to change it:

    1. Browse to the self service update portal
    2. Log in with your username and password
    3. Click on the Password Management tab
    4. Enter your current password, and your new password twice – Your new password must follow the password policy listed
    5. Click the Submit button

    Setting and Updating Your Security Questions

    You can set up security questions so that you can reset your password if you forget it later:

    1. Browse to the self service update portal
    2. Log in with your username and password
    3. Click on the Password Management tab
    4. Click on Security Questions in the side pane
    5. Enter your current password and click Submit
    6. Select questions from the drop down menus and enter your answers – remember that your answers are case sensitive
    7. Click the Submit button

    If you have already set questions and wish to reset your question choices, click the Reset Questions button before step 6.

    Resetting Your Password

    If you have forgotten your password or your current password will not work, you can reset your password by answering your security questions.

    Note: If you have not set up security questions then you will not be able to reset your password yourself. In this case you must submit a helpdesk ticket.

    1. Browse to the self service password reset portal
    2. Enter your username and the security code in the image
    3. Enter the answers to your security questions and click the Continue button
    4. Choose a new password and enter it twice – Your new password must follow the password policy listed
    5. Click the Submit button
