Beginning with the 2014-15 school year, each student, upon entering the ninth grade, is to indicate in writing an endorsement area of choice.

Counselors, or designated staff, are required to provide information regarding advantages of earning an endorsement, advantages of graduating with certain Performance Acknowledgements, and advantages of completing the Distinguished Level of Achievement.  All of this information then results in the development of a student’s Personal Graduation Plan (PGP).

The informational video developed through UT Austin and posted by Region VII will provide the foundation on which advising can take place.  This 10 minute presentation will save time for the counselors to spend targeting the specifics for each student.
